The Balkan Hockey League (BHL) is bringing clubs across Southeastern Europe together through a sustainable, competitive format designed to create opportunities for players, strengthen hockey communities, and grow the game across the region.

The Balkan Hockey League (BHL) was created with a vision to bring Southeastern Europe together through ice hockey, building a stronger hockey community both on and off the ice. By connecting clubs across the region, the league aims to create new opportunities for players, strengthen relationships between organizations, and introduce more communities to the excitement of the game.

The league features a unique competition format in which each participating club hosts one weekend of games. This structure is designed to provide an exciting and competitive environment while helping organizations manage costs, improve sustainability, and create a foundation for long-term growth.

Beyond the competition itself, the Balkan Hockey League is committed to developing the sport throughout the region. By bringing clubs, players, and fans together, the league aims to increase hockey’s visibility, encourage participation, and help establish a stronger foundation for future generations of players.

With a shared commitment to collaboration, development, and competitive hockey, the BHL represents an important step toward expanding the sport’s reach across the Balkans.

Our mission is simple: to build a competitive and sustainable hockey league that unites the region, creates opportunities for players, brings communities together, and delivers a high-level hockey experience for everyone involved.

Together, we are building the future of hockey in Southeastern Europe.
