The Macedonian ice hockey team played its first official game. At the skating rink in SC “Boris Trajkovski” in Skopje, our hockey players played with the young Bulgarian national team, losing 5-6 (2-0.1-2.2-3.0-1) after the penalty shootout.

In an equal played match, our hockey players took the lead with 5:3, but in the third period they allowed the guests from Bulgaria to catch up and equalize, and then with Georgiev’s goal in the penalty shootout, they achieved triumph.

But all that is the least important in the moments when above all Macedonian hockey marks a new page of its existence.

Scorers for our selection were Davor Atanasov and Jure Vnuk with two goals each, as well as Dmitrij Prokudin with one goal.
