The new formed Macedonian hockey club won its first match convincingly against a Slovenian team, and next weekend in Skopje matches with a Bulgarian club are coming
The newly formed Macedonian hockey club HC Skopje Herd had its debut past weekend when it defeated the Slovenian team Dolenjske Toplice with a convincing 12-2 in its first match.
The match were played at the Boris Trajkovski Ice Rink in Skopje.
The next day, both opponents played another match, this time Dolenjske Toplice was victorious with final result of 9-8.

Another weekend of hockey follows, again organized by Skopje Herd. On Friday at 9 p.m., Skopje Herd and the guests from Bulgaria, Dinamo Sofia, are scheduled to play.
The tournament is scheduled to resume on saturday at 9 a.m. In addition to Dinamo Sofia, Red Star Sofia is also likely to participate, a team that has not yet confirmed its arrival in Skopje. A match is also planned for Sunday at 9 a.m.
The club’s owner, Canadian Cody Janzen, and coach Nick Dilisi from the United States are pleased with how the Skopje Herd is performing and say that the activities so far have exceeded their expectations.
The majority of the Skopje Herd members are Macedonian hockey players, but there are also significant foreign reinforcements, namely four Canadians and one Slovak.
